Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is in the planning stage of commissioning a specialist wheelchair service for children, young people, and adults in North Nottinghamshire. This market intelligence exercise is taking place under the legal basis directive 32014L0024 and falls within the health services category. Businesses interested in providing these services are invited to complete a questionnaire as part of this exercise, which is not a binding procurement process.
The deadline for submitting feedback is 12pm on 4th September 2025. The ICB aims to ensure that the service specification aligns with budget constraints and maintains a value-for-money approach. This exercise is a precursor to potential future procurement activities, with a future notice date set for 29th September 2025.
This market intelligence exercise presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in health services, especially those with experience in managing wheelchair services and adhering to strict budgetary requirements. The ICB is looking for providers capable of delivering services that meet the outlined criteria while offering the flexibility to adapt to financial constraints. Companies with expertise in healthcare service provision and those who can demonstrate operational efficiency within funded parameters will find this opportunity particularly suited to their business growth.
Engaging in this process could position businesses favourable for any future procurement contracts by the NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB.
