PEP/CYP/ Strategic Partner for Children's Homes

Bristol City Council has completed the procurement process for the "Strategic Partner for Children's Homes" contract, with the awarded contract starting on 2nd October 2025 and running until 1st October 2032. 3 million awarded to CF Contact and Support Services Ltd. The initial tender process, employing a competitive dialogue method due to its selective nature, aimed to engage a strategic partner to develop and operate children's homes and step-down accommodations in the South West of England.

The process offered a contract length of seven years, with options for a further two plus one-year extensions. This opportunity is particularly advantageous for businesses specialising in delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services and developing resilience among vulnerable children, as it encompasses strategic projects that focus on preventing multiple relocations of children and maintaining local support networks. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) were eligible to participate, highlighting the inclusive nature of this procurement and encouraging participation from a diverse range of service providers capable of innovating and adapting to the evolving needs of children's social care.
