BSO PaLS on behalf of HSCNI is inviting suppliers to participate in a market engagement session for middleware solutions for: Automated Blood Culturing Systems, Maldi-Tof Automated Identification Systems, Automated Antibiotic Identification & Sensitivity Testing Systems, Automated plate streakers, Smart Incubators, Smart sorting of plates for reading, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Imaging system for reading plates. The information session will be an opportunity for suppliers to present to a panel of Microbiologists. Suppliers who meet the participation requirements will be invited to a market engagement session. At this session, presenters will be required to: a) Provide an oral presentation on their middleware solution; and b) respond to questions or clarifications from those in attendance following the presentation. Please note that participation in this session will be limited based on technical capacity to supply a) all the equipment outlined above and b) a middleware solution that is compatible with all listed equipment. The Client also has limited capacity to facilitate market engagement; therefore, places will be restricted and it may not be possible to accommodate all interested suppliers. Additional information: The oral presentation will be scheduled to last approximately 20 minutes per presenting organisation. The expected outcome of this engagement is a clear understanding of middleware functionality. The presentation should include, but is not limited to, the following: middleware architecture and how each piece of equipment interacts with the middleware; data processing, exchange, reporting and analysis capabilities; data storage and QC data for images; connectivity capabilities to during Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS); and, contingency for operation during LIMS downtime. The market engagement session will be held on Tuesday 18th February.
