Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for PeacePlus Arts and Collaborative Resilience. Derry City and Strabane District Council are seeking an organisation to co-ordinate and deliver this project which is a strategic level arts project within Derry City and Strabane District Council's (DCSDC's) PEACEPLUS Action Plan. The project aims to increase collaborative and strategic working within the core community arts and culture sector. It links strongly to the DCSDC Arts and Cultural Strategy (Sectoral Investment Plan 2021) and will require regular engagement with the Arts and Culture Manager, John Kerr to ensure a co-ordinated approach with council's services in this area and to maximise the benefit and legacy of the project. Working with the DCSDC Arts Service, the successful tenderer will bring together a target of 26+ Arts and Cultural Sector organisations from within the council area. It will develop 2 areas of cross-community collaboration to leverage economies of scale for the participating organisations, enhancing collective sustainability. Arising from the Co-design process across the entire district, this project should strive to bring key benefit across the geography of the council area. Cross-border engagement into Donegal is also welcome where relevant, as many of the audiences for arts and cultural activity area cross-border.
