Summary, notice description and lot information
Angus Council is commencing the planning stage for a procurement process entitled "Provision of Family Support Services," targeting the services industry. This project, located in Angus region (UKM71), involves two primary lots: Early Intervention and Intensive Family Support. The council is a central purchasing body focused on general public services, and is preparing to issue a contract notice on approximately 6th June 2025.
The services are set to commence on 1st November 2025, with an initial term of three years and an option for a two-year extension. The entire tender process is planned to be open for five weeks, concluding on 11th July 2025. This procurement offers substantial opportunities for businesses specializing in child and family support services, particularly those adept in early intervention and intensive family support.
Enterprises with expertise in therapeutic and trauma-informed services, and a strong understanding of issues such as substance abuse, mental health, domestic abuse, and anti-social behaviour, will find this tender particularly relevant. Companies capable of providing flexible, comprehensive support and engagement with families will likely stand out. Given the project’s potential scale and complexity, businesses can leverage this opportunity to expand their service portfolio and enhance their reputation within the public sector.
Potential bidders should prepare to address the unique challenges outlined in each lot, ensuring proactive adaptation to family needs and community integration.

The Service Provider will have a comprehensive understanding of the impact of these issues on the lives of children and young people in order to achieve the desired outcomes for children and young people. Services should be therapeutic, and trauma informed and focus on building resilience and reducing risk.. No further details at this time. Full information provided in Contract Notice to be published 6th June 2025
The service will be an Intensive Family Support service providing a 7 day week service including evening support to families and working closely with Angus Council's Enhance Service.
