- Support to overcome practical barriers like, arranging transport to appointments and support to attend;
- Organising replacement passports/travel cards;
- Gathering evidence of a person's residency in the UK through contacting past employers, HMRC, DWP, GPs etc.;
- With their informed consent and the support of immigration advice partners, making Subject Access Requests to get information about criminal convictions and/or the status of outstanding applications;
- Building and maintaining client trust and engagement through regular 'check-ins' and updates;
