PROVISION OF THE DERBYSHIRE INTEGRATED SEXUAL HEALTH SERVICE

Derbyshire County Council has issued a contract modification notice under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023 for the provision of the Derbyshire Integrated Sexual Health Service. This contract, initially awarded to Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust, aims to deliver open access sexual health services across Derbyshire (excluding Derby City). Key elements include supporting individuals' sexual health and wellbeing, focusing on prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment, especially for vulnerable groups.

The contract was signed on 29th June 2023, and the modification includes a non-recurrent amount of £125,960.92 to cover additional required services from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the health and social work services sector to engage in providing essential community health services.
