Summary, notice description and lot information
The procurement process for a virtual outpatient clinic platform specifically tailored to individuals with Parkinson’s is spearheaded by the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). The initiative, titled "Virtual outpatient clinic platform for people with Parkinson’s," falls under the services industry category, focussing on hospital services. The location of the procurement activity is the UKH14 region.
As of 11th December 2025, the procurement has reached the award and contract stage with Neu Health Digital Ltd as the contracting party, with a contract duration from 13th December 2025 to 31st March 2026. The activity followed a limited procurement method, under the Provider Selection Regime regulations, which allowed for a direct award to continue existing services without prior competition due to specific patient safety considerations. This tender offers notable opportunities for business growth by leveraging Neu Health’s Software as a Medical Device (SAMD) platform to support up to 300 Parkinson’s patients.
Such an integration would suit digital health companies specializing in SAMD platforms and services aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery efficiency. Businesses focusing on medical technology collaborations with healthcare trusts could benefit from this growing market, offering real-time patient monitoring and clinical decision support, aligning with NHS's strategic goals to manage increasing health demands effectively. The project underscores cooperation between digital health providers and healthcare institutions to address the rising need for innovative patient management solutions.
