Advocacy Services of Adults

The Worcestershire County Council, in collaboration with the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, has awarded a significant contract for advocacy services targeted at adults. This contract, titled "Advocacy Services for Adults," falls under the health and social work services industry category, specifically designed to address statutory and non-statutory needs such as crisis advocacy, Care Act advocacy, and independent mental health advocacy. The contract has a duration of five years, starting 1st February 2026, with the option for a two-year extension, and is valued at £3,365,034.

This procurement process utilised an open, competitive flexible procedure under the light touch regime, indicating a focus on inclusivity and fair competition. The contracting process has now moved to the award stage, having been signed on 31st October 2025.
