Award of Dynamic Purchasing System for Domiciliary Care Services in Powys

Powys County Council has completed the award stage of a procurement process entitled "Award of Dynamic Purchasing System for Domiciliary Care Services in Powys," categorised under social protection services. This dynamic purchasing system (DPS) will run for an initial period of 10 years, starting from August 2024, with potential extensions of up to 5 years, dependent on bi-annual reviews. The services are concentrated in North and South Powys, with distinct lots for town, rural, and remote rural areas, particularly focusing on domiciliary care for people with dementia.

The tender followed a restricted procedure, necessitating supplier registration with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). The contract, worth a total of £3216.94, was signed on 30th September 2020.
