Award of Dynamic Purchasing System for Domiciliary Care Services in Powys

Powys County Council has completed the procurement process for the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Domiciliary Care Services in the Powys region. The initial DPS period is set for 10 years, starting from August 2024, with a potential 5-year extension pending bi-annual reviews. The procurement process, identified as a "restricted procedure," focuses on social protection services, specifically domiciliary care, in areas including North and South Powys.

The Council specified different lots such as town, rural, and remote rural areas for the provision of these services. The procurement stage is now in the award phase, with contracts actively signed as of September 30, 2020.
