The Health Board may commission services from areas not listed in the above list if insufficient satisfactory bids are received for its priority areas. The Health Board reserves the right not to commission the full level of service outlined in the tender if it does not receive sufficient satisfactory bids within the priority areas.
The contracted provider is free to offer private services but it is expected that NHS commitment will be maintained at the contracted level and that NHS provision remains the significant proportion of the contractor's total workload.
