The aim is that the support will be provided for up to six months to support and increase the persons confidence to access their community and beyond. The intention would be to reduce the reliance on paid support, and this could also become part of the Adult Social Care Prevention Team offer when someone approaches the Council for support. These services will replicate and expand on the current building based and outreach support for people with multiple and profound disabilities (Complex Needs). This Lot includes an ambition to develop the market and explore innovative offers to provide support for Carers to continue in their caring role, by providing evening and overnight opportunities for the people they care for. The overarching aim is to develop additional innovative offers to increase the choice and type of respite available in Rotherham to Carers and those they care for.
