Summary, notice description and lot information
Devon County Council is planning a public procurement for the provision of independent and alternative education support services for children and young people in Devon. This upcoming opportunity, titled "CP2491-24 Independent and Alternative Education support for Children and Young People in Devon," falls under the education and training services category. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage and will involve two key engagement events on Tuesday, 11th March 2025, at County Hall in Exeter.
These events will focus on service design and collaboration for education placements for children with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) and statutory Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as alternative education support services. Providers interested in these services are encouraged to attend the events for further engagement. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the education services sector, particularly those specialising in bespoke education placements for SEND children and alternative education support.
Organisations such as independent schools, special schools, non-maintained special schools, and providers of education-based mentoring and tutoring services will find this procurement particularly relevant. By participating in the upcoming engagement events and subsequent processes, businesses can collaborate with Devon County Council to shape future service provision, potentially securing contracts that will foster business growth while contributing to the education and well-being of children and young people in the region.
