The total contract value stands at £114,000,000, intended to support various domiciliary care service packages over a ten-year term, concluding on 2 December 2033.
This procurement offers significant opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as evidenced by the involvement of several SMEs such as Care Wales (Gofal Cymru), Care In Hand Ltd, and Pembrokeshire Care Ltd in the awarded contracts. Such contracts are conducive to expanding business operations, particularly for those conducting services within the health and social care sectors. The DPS framework allows firms to apply at any time during its term, making it an attractive and flexible business growth avenue for domiciliary care providers looking to establish or enhance partnerships with local authorities and health boards.
