The procurement process aimed at reducing waiting list initiatives within the Health services category and is intended to be delivered at Morriston Hospital, Swansea (UKL18). This tender, initiated in July 2025, followed a limited procurement method under extreme urgency conditions and utilised the Countess of Chester On-site Surgical and Medical Capacity Solutions Framework to award without prior competition.

The contract, valued at GBP 131,220, is set to commence immediately to address staffing constraints and meet Ministerial Targets at Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB).
