Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process, focused on developing a Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Long Covid Service for the Kent and Medway regions. The procurement is classified under health services and involves service provision that integrates with primary care, community services, and the voluntary sector. A virtual market engagement event is scheduled for 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on 22nd August 2025.
Interested providers should register by 5 pm on 20th August 2025 to participate and discuss the future contracting model, which includes a three-year contract with an optional two-year extension. This tender represents a significant opportunity for service providers in the health industry, particularly those offering innovative solutions for managing complex health conditions like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Long Covid. Businesses with capabilities in multidisciplinary care, virtual support systems, or specialised transition care for young people could find this project aligns with their services.
Engaging in this procurement process allows businesses to integrate with the NHS's efforts to improve patient care in the UK and expand their service delivery networks through a formal contract with the NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board.
