The use of the Image Intensifiers will be in line with the companies IRMER Regulations and Radiation Safety Procedures - copies of which will be supplied to the Hospital. Equipment will be installed and tested in the evening prior to the session or in the morning, depending on access/ward opening and closing times. 2 fully trained lithotripsy technicians Comprehensive treatment sheet for each treatment. All staff will be DBS checked on employment and every 2 years thereafter. All staff will be HCPC registered. Patients who are scanned/screened by FMS technicians using FMS equipment but no stone is found are recorded as being treated. In the event of equipment failure the Hospital will only be charged for patients treated. Comprehensive audits of patient treatments are available on request.
