Parenting Programme

The Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has concluded the procurement process for the "Parenting Programme," a service targeting the education and training sector, with an emphasis on health and social work services. This programme aims at delivering an Early Bird ten-week course for parents and carers managing pre-school children with Autism. The procurement phase is complete, with contracts awarded to Early Bird Linwood and Winchelsea School as service suppliers.

This initiative covers the UKK24 region, including Bournemouth and Poole, and was formalised with contracts commencing on 1st April 2025, running through 31st March 2026. The procurement method followed a below-threshold approach under a light-touch regime, aligned with the legal framework UKPGA 2023/54. This contract presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in educational support and autism care services.

Enterprises with experience in conducting group sessions and home interventions can leverage this framework to showcase their services in community-focused programmes.
