Award of Dynamic Purchasing System for Domiciliary Care Services in Powys

Powys County Council has completed the award stage of its procurement process for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) dedicated to Domiciliary Care Services in Powys. This initiative, released under the restricted procedure, falls within the health and social work services category. Several suppliers, including Affinity Homecare and PEOPLE SUPPORT LTD, have been contracted as of 19 May 2025.

The DPS, initially planned for ten years with options to extend for five more years, intends to address care needs for different regions, including North and South Powys. The council has selected multiple offers from suppliers demonstrating the ongoing demand in these services. This tender represents substantial opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the care sector, aiming to expand their services across the Powys region.
