Wrexham County Borough Council has completed a procurement process titled "Children & Young People’s Substance Misuse Services (Conwy & Denbighshire) & Family Substance Misuse Intervention Service (Conwy, Denbighshire & Flintshire)" within the rehabilitation services industry, across North Wales. The contract, awarded to Barnardo Services Limited with a total value of £2,572,920, was signed on 1st April 2025.

This process followed a limited procurement method under an exemption allowing for the direct award without prior publication of a call for competition due to the specialised nature of services required.
