The NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board has concluded the procurement process for GP-Led Community Dermatology Services, classified under health services (CPV: 85100000). Operating under a direct award procedure outlined in the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, the contract was awarded without prior publication of a call for competition. The procurement process took place in the South East region of the UK, specifically in Windsor, with the main objective of creating a one-stop-shop service to deliver diagnostic tests and high-quality health services locally.
The contract, valued at approximately £384,624 for an initial term of two years with the possibility of a one-year extension, is set to commence on 3 November 2025. There is potential for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in health services to engage in contracts structured on a cost-per-case basis.
