Hearing Service

Cumberland Council has successfully completed the procurement process for the provision of hearing services, awarding the contract to BID SERVICES. This initiative, titled "Hearing Service," falls under the health and social work sector and is intended to benefit residents of the Cumberland region. The contract was signed on 1st September 2025 and is scheduled to run until 31st August 2026, with the possibility of a one-year extension depending on performance and funding availability.

The procurement was conducted through an open competition below the threshold and was part of the light-touch regime, ensuring accessible and flexible opportunities for service providers.
