Individual Placement and Support (IPS) for people with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and/or complex Mental Health needs in Community Mental Health Teams

The NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board has announced the formal award of a contract for the provision of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services aimed at people with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and/or complex Mental Health needs within Community Mental Health Teams. This service uses an evidence-based model of supported employment that has consistently demonstrated success for job seekers with severe and enduring mental health problems. The contract, awarded using the competitive Provider Selection Regime (PSR), will commence on 1st July 2025 for an initial period of 3 years and 9 months, with a possible extension of 2 years.

The total potential value of the contract is £22,125,942, with an initial value of £15,452,825.28. The contracting authority is located in Eastleigh, UKJ3 region.
