The Suicide Prevention Training Workshops will provide training to individuals in Kent and Medway who have an interest in suicide prevention.
The service aims to *Improve awareness of suicide prevention issues and techniques *Improve confidence and knowledge of how to speak to someone who may be at risk of suicide and signpost appropriately *Improve awareness of the available service in Kent and Medway This event will outline the requirements of Kent County Council for the Support Service for People Bereaved by Suicide and the Suicide Prevention Training Workshops and seek stakeholder input on the feasibility and design of these services.
