Summary, notice description and lot information
The London Borough of Newham is planning a procurement process for the Newham Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS), particularly focusing on Lots 1 and 3 related to health and social work services. This involves Semi Independent Living (Supported Accommodation) Services and Supported Lodgings. The procurement is in the planning stage, with a virtual Meet The Buyer event scheduled for Thursday, 14th August 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
The event aims to engage organisations interested in these services and clarify key requirements of the tender process. This engagement is not an invitation to tender but serves as a preparatory step before the future notice event expected by 31st January 2026. The location for the delivery of services is the UKI region.
This procurement process presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social work services, particularly those with expertise in semi-independent living and supported lodgings, to establish connections with the London Borough of Newham. Companies already experienced in providing Ofsted-regulated services would be particularly well-suited to participate in this market engagement. The event offers a platform to gain insights into the Newham PDPS framework and discuss potential participation with commissioning officers, thus positioning themselves favourably for future tender opportunities.
Businesses seeking growth in the public sector through service provision to looked-after children and care leavers should consider attending the event and engaging with the process for potential inclusion in future tender opportunities.
The London Borough of Newham (PDPS) Commissioning Homes for Looked After Children and Care Leavers includes the provision of: Lot 1: Provision of Semi-Independent Living Services (now Supported Accommodation regulated by Ofsted) Lot 2: Provision of Children's Homes regulated by Ofsted Lot 3: Provision of Supported Lodgings Lot 4: Provision of Independent Fostering Agencies (IFA) regulated by Ofsted This is a combined information event for all providers of Semi Independent Living (Supported Accommodation) Services to hear about the Newham PDPS Framework, Lot 1 Round 4 for Semi Independent Living Services including 16+ / 18+ independent living with floating support, and for all providers of Supported Lodgings to hear about the Newham PDPS Framework, Lot 3 Round 2 for Supported Lodgings for 16+.
