Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board, located in Woking, has announced an intention to award a contract for the provision of Talking Therapies to the Centre for Psychology. This procurement falls under the health services category, with the primary focus on improving access to evidence-based psychological therapies for common mental health conditions. The procurement process was conducted under a Provider Selection Regime, not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, and is currently at the award stage.
Key dates include the standstill period ending on 26 September 2025, allowing for representations from other providers. This £1,309,662 contract involves a direct award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. This tender presents growth opportunities for businesses specializing in psychological therapies, particularly those with capabilities in delivering cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling, and other therapeutic interventions.
Companies experienced in innovative service delivery models catering to diverse populations, including virtual and face-to-face therapy sessions, stand to benefit. Firms with strong performance in improving access and reducing health inequalities are well-suited to compete in this tender, especially those able to demonstrate cost-effectiveness and social value in their service delivery.
