Summary, notice description and lot information
The NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) has issued a modification notice concerning a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract. This contract, titled "The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH) 2022 - 2027," falls within the hospital and related services category under the CPV code 85110000. 60 to £3,433,914.
This contract modification takes effect from 20th August 2025, with no changes to the contract's dates and terms. The process is actively in the 'Award' stage, highlighting the buying organisation's commitment to enhancing public health financing. This tender provides significant business opportunities for companies specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with experience in hospital management or public health financing.
The increased financial allocation reveals a growing demand for services that expand public health capabilities and support NHS England's objectives. Companies with a strong track record in managing large-scale healthcare contracts or those looking to establish a presence in the UK healthcare sector might find joining this initiative highly rewarding. The contract's focus on modification and financial uplift suggests a stable long-term commitment, ideal for businesses that can scale and adapt to changing financial landscapes within the health sector.
This Modification is to update NHS England Public Health Finances for 2025/2026. Following the Additional Staff Payment (CUF) uplift for 2025/2026, 0.68% has been added to the Public Health budget. This results in a PS4,541.60 increase to the Public Health Finances and overall total value. Public Health Finances have not previously been included as part of this contract and this addition is a result of the decision by NHS England that these funding elements should be included in local ICB Contracts. So while the 25/26 Public Health Contract value is PS686,782.80, this modification takes into account that this value will be included for the remaining years of the contract giving an overall value of PS3,433,914.00. any further updates to the Public Health Finances will be added to the relevant financial year's opening value via a modification/variation. The effective date of this modification is 20th August 2025 and the value is PS3,433,914. Contract dates and term remain unchanged.
